Top Batting & Bowling Performance Widgets Follow
There are two widgets, which may be added to your Home page to display the top performers in batting or bowling for a given season or for all seasons depending on the widget settings.
Here is a screen shot of my Home page and I am going to place the two new widgets beneath the News. I also want to put a coloured border around the widgets to match the one around the welcome message.
Starting from the Administration Home page, go to Site Builder.
I need the colour code from the Welcome message so I have clicked on the widget to view the settings. The colour code is #46b683.
I have also viewed the position settings from the News widget so that I can get the first additional widget aligned with it.
The X-Axis position will be entered into the first widget to be added.
The Y-Axis position for the new widget will be 639 + 344 (height of news widget) + 25 (to leave a bit of a gap) = 1008.
Now select the Top Batting Performance widget from Site Builder>Widgets.
In the screen shot below, I have ticked the border box, changed the border colour and the position settings.
Select the Top Batting Performance settings tab to adjust the filters.
By selecting the relevant filters, the widget can be set to display the top batting performance for a particular team in a given season. If you select the current season, the statistics will be updated as scorecards are added.
If you leave the Filter Column set to ‘On’, visitors to your site will be able to search based on their filter selections.
These are the settings that I have used:
The new widget has been added but it needs to be adjusted to show the top 5 players and eliminate the need to scroll.
Drag the bottom right corner downwards to increase the height of the widget.
Having made adjustments to the height of the widget, I can use the dimensions to help place the bowling performance widget next to it.
Select the Top Bowling Performance widget from the Widgets dropdown list.
To place this widget next to the Batting Performance widget, I have used the following settings:
The X-Axis will be 267 + 279 (width of Batting performance widget) + 10 pixels (for spacing) = 556.
Y-Axis = 1008 to be at the same level on the page.
Set the height and width and the border colour to be the same.
Select the Top Bowling Performance settings tab and set the filters before saving the widget.
The screen shot below shows the two widgets in place at the bottom of my Home page.
