Please note that this download of the XML file only works for TCS 8 and TCS 7.
Do not attempt to upload the file to later versions of TCS.
Download to TCS 8
There is now an option to download fixtures from Play-Cricket into XML files suitable for import into TCS8 or TCS7 (it does not work with later versions of TCS) so that scorers using this app may continue to score and upload to PlayCricket.
This option appears when a user with the appropriate credentials has logged in and clicks on their name to view the dropdown list.
Log in to your club site.
Click on your name in the top right corner and select TCS Download from the dropdown list.
You will be presented with a list of available fixtures.
Click the Download button for the relevant fixture.
Depending on your browser, you may see a message as illustrated below, or the file should be saved automatically to your chosen download folder.
The file is downloaded to your device in XML format and has the match ID as the filename.
In TCS v8 or v7, use the Import Fixture facility to import the file that you have downloaded.
Select open and you should an Import match screen:
Click Import to continue.
The upload from TCS to Play-Cricket has not changed.
