Recovering your Match (PCS Pro) Follow
If turned on under Tools> Configuration, an automatic backup/export of the Match is taken at the end of every Over or Break in Play.
This can be found under My Documents\Cricket Matches\[Match Folder]\Backup.
We are not aware of any general database file corruption occurring through standard expected use of the software in the field.
If such an issue occurred it should be logged with the help desk at play.cricket@ecb.co.uk
Please Note: Users should not open or query the database directly - please only go through PCS Pro itself.
This is not to say that taking backups is not advised - doing so regularly would be good practice even to avoid things like accidentally deleting a match you may have only scored locally. Also, if your matches are live scored then they are also backed up on the server.
The "Copy Database" options will be made available in a future release - they were deprioritised in favour of other scorer-requested features prior to the season starting.
This may be useful to return a Match to a "last known good" if this is an easier path after errors than, for example, undoing balls.
