Play-Cricket Scorer Pro (PCS Pro) Scoreboard Integration
Play-Cricket Scorer Pro (PCS Pro) has a flexible templating system for outputting ball by ball data, suitable for scoreboard integration. The scoreboard integrator can write a separate piece of software to take the scoring data and communicate with their equipment.
See below sample output file with no template applied (you can ignore descriptions, they can be turned off). Example templates (although not recommended for new, standard integrations) are available here:
Also see the below CSV field list containing details of all fields suitable for output for LED / fixed digit integrations. The field list is generated on launch and is in the following folder (the full field list is saved to the same folder):
The output files are written each time a scoring change is made, ball by ball. While the file can be configured to save any accessible location on the computer or network, the default folder is provided:
Setup the output by going to Tools > Configuration > Scoreboard tab (make sure you tick LED fields only to reduce the size of the output, but the full list may contain additional data required so can be left enabled):
Here is the debug process which needs following when a user is having an issue with an FSL Scoreboard:
- Enable debug option by going to Tools > Configuration > Scoreboard > Tick ‘Include Debug Output’
- Provides the following folder by email: < documents >\Cricket Matches\_Scoreboards\scoreboard-config.json and the .bak equivalent
- Immediately after the issue occurs, the scorer provides the following file: < documents >\Cricket Matches\_Scoreboards\Output\led-commands-debug.txt
