Video and Live Stream Match Day Quick Tip Checklist (PCS Pro)
Follow
The live streaming laptop must be plugged into and be powered by mains power, NOT battery
Ensure that you are logged into PCS Pro so that the match to be live streamed can be accessed
Double-check that the YouTube Stream Key and Embed Code are correct in PCS Pro (update if not)
The YouTube Event must be set to Unlisted, so that it can be embedded to the Match Centre Close any other apps that are running on the live streaming laptop, so that only PCS Pro is running
If you wish to ‘lock-and-leave’ the stream, ensure that Auto is selected on Streaming Overlay Control
If so, remember to use some manual slides during Drinks, Lunch/Tea, and Rain/Bad Light; e.g., Batting card, Bowling card, FOW, or one of the Master buttons (and Auto again when play resumes)
Ensure that the next day’s live streaming Event is setup in You Tube in multi-day matches If the video becomes jerky or freezes on the laptop that the video feed is coming into (which is also streaming), click Restart Video Player on the Video Display settings cog menu
If the video feed breaks when streaming from a Reader laptop, click Reconnect to Remote Video on the Video Display settings cog menu
At the end of the day’s play/match, click the Stop Live Stream button so that it is closed down correctly
