Starting An Innings (PCS Pro) Follow
Once the Match Details have been saved, click on the Record Toss button next to the Play State dropdown arrow, select the required radio buttons for the toss winning team and their decision (or check the Uncontested box), and click Save.
If the Toss details are recorded incorrectly, click on the Play State dropdown arrow, re-select the Pre Toss option, click Yes to the Undo Current Toss prompt, enter the correct Toss details on the re-opened window, and click Save.
When the match is about to commence, click on the Start Play button next to the Play State dropdown arrow (previously the Record Toss button), select the required radio buttons for the opening end of the first over and the bowler’s end umpire, and click OK.
If either of the Opening End details are entered incorrectly, go to the Scoring menu, select Opening End, enter the correct details, and click OK.
Select the bowler for Over 1 from dropdown list on the Confirm Bowler prompt and click OK, and repeat this for the bowler for Over 2.
The software will then remember these two bowlers from Overs 3 and 4, respectively, so only bowling changes then need to be entered.
Starting All Subsequent Innings of a Match
After completing the previous innings (see End Innings instructions, and if the Start Next Innings box was not checked at this time), click on the Next Innings button next to the Play State dropdown arrow.
This button will change to Start Play, so click it again when play is about to re-commence to select the Opening End over, and click OK (the software will remember which Umpire is at which end for all innings after the first).
The Confirm Bowler prompt for both Over 1 and Over 2 will reappear, so select the correct bowler and click OK.
