Keyboard Scoring (PCS Pro) Follow
Please find below the keyboard scoring shortcuts:
- 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 for the respective number of runs off the bat (credited to the batsman);
- w and 0 for a wide, w and 1 for 2 wides, w and 2 for 3 wides, w and 3 for 4 wides, w and 4 for 5 wides;
- n for a no ball, n and 1 for a no ball and 1 run to the batsman, n and 2 for a no ball and 2 runs to the batsman, etc;
- n, l or b, and 1 for a no ball with 1 leg bye or bye, n, l or b, and 2 for a no ball with 2 leg byes or byes, etc;
- l and 1 for 1 leg bye, l and 2 for 2 leg byes, l and 3 for 3 leg byes, etc;
- b and 1 for 1 bye, b and 2 for 2 byes, b and 3 for 3 byes, etc
- p to open the Penalty Runs window to be completed as required;
- x to open the Wicket window, to be completed as required;
- o to End Over with less than six legal deliveries, or any over in Auto End Over mode OFF;
- Delete, Escape, or Ctrl-Z to Undo Ball or Undo End Ball;
- F2 or Insert to Enter and Exit Edit Mode;
- If NOT in Auto-Start Ball and/or Auto End Ball mode, use the space bar to Start Ball and End Ball;
Please Note: ‘.’ has been added as an option for scoring a dot ball (‘0’).
New Functions:
F4 Cursor Snap - Immediately returns the cursor to the ‘next action’ button (i.e., Record Toss, Start Play, End Ball, etc) if this is ‘lost’ on a second monitor or in bright sunlight
F7 Match Scorecard - Immediately opens the Match Scorecard for viewing, saving, printing, or emailing
F8 Match Scorebook - Immediately opens the Match Scorebook for viewing, saving, printing, or emailing
F11 Full Screen - Enters/exits full screen mode, whereby the top two rows (PCS Pro & match details information and menu bar) are hidden to expand the main user interface
NB: The Function (Fn) or another control key may need to be held down as well on some laptops.
