Instructions for Scoring a Match Offline

1. Once the matches have been created on Play Cricket, download them to your app whilst you are connected to WiFi
2. Choose the match in the Upcoming section on the app that you will be scoring offline. Touch the match on the name and the following message will appear:

 

3. Select ‘Download’. The match is now ready to score offline

It is important that the following actions are carried out on match day

Log out of the app

Go into the “CONTINUE WITHOUT LOGGING IN” option at the bottom of the screen.

Select “Downloaded Matches”

Choose the match you want to score by touching the fixture:

You will then see this message:

Select ‘Continue scoring’

This will take you through to the Team Selection screens:

Once you have selected/confirmed the Teams, press ‘DONE’. The app will then display the following message:

Press ‘CONTINUE’ and you can then complete the Match Setup. The fields that are presented will depend on the Match Type chosen for the fixture:

When you’ve completed this screen, press ‘DONE’

You will now be asked how you want to score the 1^st innings:

At the end of the match you will see a message similar to the ones below:

Press ‘OK’ and the next Information message will appear:

Press ‘OK’

The usual thing to do now is to select ‘FINALISE RESULT’. This will then bring up the following message:

Press ‘OK’. And then Save and Exit

When you are able, connect to WiFi and log into the app

The match will appear in the In Progress section of the app with a message to ‘REVIEW/EDIT:

Access the match and the following will appear:

Select ‘Review/Edit’ and you will be taken to the Scoresheet

Click on the ‘MATCH ACTIONS button and a menu will appear:

Select ‘End Match’ and you will be asked to confirm it:

Press ‘YES’ and you will be taken to the Scorecard where you can decide whether to edit or not:

Press ‘OK’ and you will be in the Scorecard. Once you’re happy, press ‘End Match’

You can then finalise the match:

Press ‘FINALISE RESULT’

You can now select the match result:

Press ‘Done’ and you will get a final message:

Press ‘OK’ and the match will move into the Completed section on the app:
