Downloading A Fixture (PCS) Follow
Play-Cricket synchronises with the PCS scoring app twice a day at 11am and 1am. If a match is created in Play-Cricket AFTER 11am, it will need to be downloaded manually using the following steps:
Please Note: This function is only available to Main or Fixture Administrators and also users with the Scorer admin role.
IMPORTANT: Games verses scratch & unregistered teams are NOT available to be downloaded and scored.
How to Download a Recently Added Fixture in PCS:
1. In the Matches screen, ensure the correct competition is selected from the dropdown menu.
2. Tap the Download button (top left or top right of your screen, depending on your device).
3. An Information dialogue box will appear, prompting you to confirm the download. Select OK.
-
- Please note that this process may take a few minutes.
4. Once downloaded, the fixture should now appear in the Upcoming Matches list under the relevant competition.
If the match still doesn’t appear, please contact a Club Administrator to check whether the opponent is a scratch team.
When adding an opponent in Play-Cricket.com, always use the search function first, as most opponents should already exist in the system. If the club isn’t found, you have two options:
- Request a new club – Click the "Send Club Creation Request" button. This will submit a request to a Play-Cricket admin for approval. Once approved, you’ll receive an email confirmation, and the club will become searchable for fixture updates.
- Create the opposition as a team within your club – If needed, you can add the opponent as a team under your own club in Play-Cricket (e.g., just as you have a 1st XI, 2nd XI, Friendly XI, or Midweek XI).
If time is critical, we recommend choosing the second option and then downloading the fixture as per Steps 1 to 4 above.
