If a mistake occurs while scoring, individual deliveries or entire overs can be edited retroactively. You may need to edit an individual ball, a whole over (in the case of having selected the wrong bowler) or insert a missing ball.

How to Edit a Ball:

1. To edit a ball, tap the pencil icon next to the ball that needs correction.

NB if using a smartphone, first select the Ball-by-Ball tab towards the top right of the scoresheet.

2. Edit the relevant detail that needs adjusting:

• • Strike batter
  • Bowler
  • Score type (e.g., wides, byes, runs, etc.)
  • Number of runs
  • Ball number within the over

3. Tap Done. If the edit results affect subsequent balls, for example a change of strike, a dialogue box will appear, prompting the scorer to update subsequent balls. Choose one of the following options:

• • Yes (Entire Innings)
  • Yes (This Over)
  • No to edit the selected ball only.

How to Edit an Over:

1. To edit an over, select the pencil icon next to the relevant over in the scoresheet.

2. Select the correct bowler from the dropdown and tap Done to confirm.

How to Insert a Missing Ball:

1. To add a missing ball, tap the plus (+) icon next to the relevant over.

2. Enter the relevant detail:

• • • Strike batter
    • Bowler
    • Score type (e.g., wides, byes, runs, etc.)
    • Number of runs
    • Ball number within the over

3. Tap Done. If the edit results affect subsequent balls, for example a change of strike, a dialogue box will appear, prompting the scorer to update subsequent balls. Choose one of the following options:

  • Yes (This Over)
  • No to edit the selected ball only.
