Replacing Captains and Wicketkeepers after the Match has Started (PCS Pro) Follow
If a nominated Captain is replaced as Captain by another player from the Playing XI after a match has started (e.g., through illness or injury), go to Scoring -> Match Details/Teams and select the replacement captain from the Captain dropdown list. The below prompt will appear, so click Substitute existing Captain in this scenario (Replace for Match should be used if the wrong player was selected during match setup).
Likewise, if a nominated Wicketkeeper is replaced as Wicketkeeper by another player from the Playing XI after a match has started (e.g., through illness or injury), go to Scoring -> Match Details/Teams and select the replacement wicketkeeper from the Wicketkeeper dropdown list. The below prompt will appear, so click Substitute existing Wicketkeeper in this scenario (Replace for Match should be used if the wrong player was selected during match setup).
The names of the substitute Captains and Wicketkeepers will then appear alongside the original players in the nominated Captain and Wicketkeeper boxes.
If these substitutions have been done incorrectly, or not at the time/over they occurred, or are the wrong type, click on the Player/Role Substitutions icon in the bottom-left corner of the Edit Match window to open this dialog:
Double-click on the required cell to reveal its dropdown arrow, then use this list to make the correction, or highlight the row of an incorrect substitution and click Delete.
