Turning On End of Over Score Checks Between Scorers (PCS Pro) Follow
A key part of Collaborative Scoring is the ability for two scorers to be prompted with a score check at the end of each over, to assist the scoring process and catch any discrepancies as soon as possible.
To enable this function, go to Tools -> Configuration -> Network and tick the ‘Show end of over score check when other scorers are connected’ checkbox on both laptops.
When scoring the match, the score check will pop-up on both scorers’ screens (the first scorer to enter the last ball of the over may have to wait a few seconds until the second scorer enters the last ball), and if there is a discrepancy ‘Scores Differ’ will be displayed at the bottom left-hand corner of the pop-up.
If so, the scorer who is correct should Close and the scorer who has made the error should Go to Edit Mode and correct their error. If the scores are identical, both scorers should click Close.
NB: This scenario is for the most common setup, of one Live Scorer and one Support Scorer, so the score check is between these two roles. If there is a Video Analyst at the match as well, the score check will be between them and the Live Scorer, as they are likely to be located away from the two (Live and Support) scorers.
