Manual (Summary) Scoring – Adding Player Data
As well as being able to enter an Innings total, the number of overs and the number of wickets taken in an innings, you can enter batting and bowling data. Once you’ve chosen Manual Scoring, you’ll be presented with the Scorecard:
Click on the Overs box and enter the total, and then click on Runs and the below will appear:
Enter the total runs for the innings and then complete the Wickets field
At this point you can select Close Innings if you don’t want to enter the batting and bowling data.
However, now that you have your summary details, you can add batting details if you wish
Enter the number of runs, balls, 4s and 6s against each batter, as per the example below:
Once this has been completed, click on the circle with the dots in it next to the batter and choose Edit Dismissal
This needs to be completed whether the better was dismissed or not
Select Dismissal Type and you’ll be taken to the below screen
Click the arrow next to Dismissal Type and select the dismissal type or Not Out
Choose a dismissal type
Then complete the bowler/fielder details and Fall of Wicket
The app will automatically add the bowler who took the wicket to the scorecard, so you can then add the Overs, Maidens and Runs details
Repeat for each batter that batted and once all the data has been entered, select Close Innings
