Scoreboard Configuration Options for within PCS Pro and LED Scoreboards (PCS Pro) Follow
The Main Scoreboard preview within PCS Pro and the display on actual LED scoreboards will not now auto-populate with the first two players on the batting team list and the last player on the bowling team list. Instead, at the start of a match these two displays will remain blank until the Toss details, two opening batsmen, and the Opening End information are confirmed.
From here, four Configuration Options have been added under Tools -> Configuration -> Scoreboard in order to customise the setup of the internal preview and the external display, as shown here:
The ‘Keep incoming player in same position as outgoing’ option retains a new batsman or new bowler in the same position as the batsman or bowler they are replacing, i.e. top or bottom for both, and left or right for batsmen if the Medium Screen (Left/Right) screen type is being used.
The ‘Blank output until play started/batsmen confirmed’ option keeps the two batsmen’s and two bowler’s positions blank until the two opening batsmen are confirmed and the two opening bowlers are selected at the start of the first and second overs, and also keeps a dismissed batsman’s position blank until the incoming batsman is confirmed.
The ‘Show outgoing batsman until incoming is confirmed’ option continues to display a dismissed batsman’s name and runs/balls, but greyed-out (not full colour or blank), until the incoming batsman is confirmed.
The ‘Use 24-hour clock’ option changes the standard 12-hour clock display to 24-hour clock, on both the scoreboard preview and output but also in Score Summary -> Cut-Off Time.
